Ian Gibbons is a keyboard player and have been in the game for many years.

He has been a member of Kinks for many years and have played with Roger Chapman, Life, Little Devils, Dr. Feelgood and Ian Hunter.

His first professional band was called Pig Iron together with Graeme Douglas in 1968.

He helped Sweet around the time of 1996-1998 and whenever Sweet needed a keyboard player beacuse of vacations and that kind of stuff. He is a professional Sweet stand-in and still is !

When Sweet played at the Farao Islands June 2005 once again he was stand in for mr. Grant.
