Hello to all Sweet fans =)

In my early teenage years I stumbled over a english band called Sweet, and yes ever since I've been collecting most of their albums, singles, dvd´s and video releases, whenever I could lay my hands on them.

I started in my teenage years in the early 70´ties buying my first Sweet single ever “BlockBuster”. Whauuuu what a hit, what a sound, and what a voice this band had when they sang. I was so totally lost into there sound – and yes, today I'm a 47 year old rock gid, still collecting and still listening to their hits.

I don’t blame Sweet for dealing with “Bubblegum” nor “Glamrock” it was just another “stairway to the stars” on the road to become one of the most succesfull rock bands ever. I only blame the time, because they where so much miss understood in the beginning of their early years. But like we all know, us to grew up with them, they went on and did made hits after hits and became a true legend.

And thanks for that Sweet, thanks for making my youth so fantastic with all of your music. I have done lots of painting and drawings of Sweet as band but also as single portraits. And whenever I have the time, I still do like to make my own Sweet Art.
