I am a sweet fan since 1974 ,  I live in a little town near  Rome , Italy and every now and then I go to see the Sweet’s gigs in near countries and every time my wife and my daughter says once again? But I never heard them.

Well,at 9 a.m. I was in Wirges , in the hotel , after the trip from Italy .

After a walk and the lunch I went to sleep , at 7 p.m. I got up , open the window of my room and with surprise I saw Andy and the rest of the band in the hotel’s garden to drink a beer and order the dinner. I came down and asked Andy if it was possible to make a few pics , he said yes but at that moment came their dinner and I did not want to disturb the band so I renounced.

At 9 p.m. I was at the venue , an agreeable place near the center of the small town at the side of  the beautiful football centre of the local team.We saw the game France-Brazil on the mega screen on top the stage and at 11 p.m we was ready to see the Sweet’s concert .

The show began with the stripper then the big hit Hellraiser and in sequence Burn on the flame , The sixteens , Teenage rampage , AC DC , Medley co co - little willie – poppa joe – wig wam bam etc , Fox on the run, Andy was incredible with his guitar and I was surprise to his performance.

After presentation to the audience of the musicians , Andy dedicated at the memory of the  great singer Brian Connolly the wonderful song Love is like oxygen and the people sang with the band.

The show continued with Blockbuster  and  some other hitz then at a quarter to 1 a.m. the show ended but the people said Zu..ga..be , Zu..ga..be , Zu..ga..be and the band played a very good version of Ballroom Blitz.This time there was a new singer , Peter Lincoln from the Sailor , he has a very good voice. Great musicians Steve and Bruce and truly superb the mythical Andy Scott.

This was the fifth Sweet's concert that I saw and every time I am very happy and excited  to be there.
